Senior Full Stack Developer (C# .Net Core and React) - Join the Innovative Team at Preferred Risk Insurance Services

Location: Bedford Park, IL (On-site 3 days a week w/hybrid schedule flexibility)

We are excited to welcome a Senior Full Stack Developer specializing in C# .Net Core and React to our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our cutting-edge insurance applications, contributing to both front-end and back-end development with a strong focus on microservices architecture.

This position is based at our Bedford Park, IL corporate headquarters, offering a hybrid work schedule for the right balance of collaboration and flexibility.

Duties & Responsibilities:

      • Lead the development of high-quality web applications using C# and React, ensuring robustness, scalability, and performance.
      • Design, develop, and implement microservices architecture.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
      • Implement and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
      • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
      • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
      • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
      • Participate in code reviews, pair programming sessions, and mentor teammates to foster their growth.
      • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
      • Integration of data storage solutions.
      • Work within an Agile environment, adapting to and embracing Agile methodologies.
      • Contribute to the DevOps culture in the team, including continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

        • 5 years of experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on C# and React.
        • Proven experience in building and scaling microservices.
        • Strong knowledge of .NET Core framework and proficiency in building applications using C#.
        • Expertise in multiple front-end technologies, particularly React.js.
        • Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
        • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases.
        • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
        • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
        • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
        • Skill for writing reusable libraries.
        • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
        • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
